With the continuous increasing of energy prices In Hungary, energy saving gains more and more importance. There are many technical solutions to decrease energy consumption and emission reduction. As a matter of course reducing the energy consumption of buildings is necessary also because of the need for improving the energy balance of Hungary and for reducing urban (community) air pollution. The passive house standard embodies the ultra-efficient use of heat either in new or in refurbished residential buildings. The heat pump is the most energy-efficient heating and cooling technology, the key tool in energy saving and in reducing carbon dioxide emission as known significant worldwide.
